Kim C. Martin is an attorney at Lefkoff, Duncan, Grimes, McSwain & Hass, P.C. Her practice focuses on trusts and estates, with a specialization in estate planning for families with a special needs family member. Her areas of expertise also include estate and gift tax planning, charitable planning, 501(c)(3) organizations, and succession planning for closely-held businesses.
Before joining Lefkoff Duncan, Kim was an associate in the Estate Planning and Administration group in the Atlanta office of Chamberlain, Hrdlicka, White, Williams and Martin (now Chamberlain, Hrdlicka, White, Williams and Aughtry). She has also worked in the State and Local Tax Division of KPMG, LLP.
Kim is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Atlanta Bar Association, and the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers. She serves on the editorial board of The Mortmain, a publication of the Estate Planning and Probate Section of the Atlanta Bar Association.
Kim has a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from the University of Virginia (1990). She earned her law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (1999). She was admitted to the practice of law in Georgia in 1999.
